The 2025 Lower Moreland Township and County taxes are due in the discount amount by Friday, April 11, 2025. The Tax Office is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. We will be having additional hours on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, April 8, 2025 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Friday, April 11, 2025 from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. If you need a copy of your tax bill please email your address to the Tax Office -- [email protected] and a copy of your bill will be emailed to you.

The Township’s contract with Republic Services to provide trash and recycling collection is set to expire on December 31, 2025. This will require advertising a bid for these services in the second quarter of 2025 so we may have a contract in place for January 1, 2026. Since our last bid in 2021, the market has changed significantly which will require adapting the program scope, including the collection type and frequency. The Lower Moreland Township Board of Commissioners will review an amended sketch plan application for the property located at 3262 Huntingdon Pike at their September 13, 2022 meeting. The application, submitted by Wei Wang is proposing a 4-lot subdivision. This is an amended Sketch Plan for the 5-lot sketch plan application that was previously reviewed by the Board of Commissioners at their April 12, 2022 meeting. As was in the case with the previous sketch plan review, please note that this is a Sketch Plan review, so there is no vote for or against such plan, but rather an opportunity to provide feedback and information.
