Please note that Governor Wolf’s Stay at Home Order is being eased as Montgomery County shifts into the Yellow Phase of the reopening plan. The Governor has outlined work, congregate and social restrictions which need to be in place during this Yellow Phase. In the Yellow Phase, the Lower Moreland Township Administration Building will remain closed to the public for regular operations. Beginning June 8, 2020, staff will be available by phone, Monday- Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and also by email at [email protected]

Township Park Facilities - All outdoor basketball courts, tennis and pickle ball courts, baseball fields and the turf at Valley Center Park will be open for public use beginning at 3 PM today, June 5, 2020. We ask that residents practice social distancing and follow CDC guidance when using these facilities. Please note that all Township owned playgrounds will remain CLOSED.   

Tax Collection- As a reminder, the Lower Moreland Township Board of Commissioners approved an extension of the 2% discount period for Lower Moreland Township and Montgomery County real estate tax payments until June 19, 2020. The face value real estate tax payment date has been moved to August 20, 2020. Please note the tax office is still closed to the public. Payments can be made by mail, credit card or left in the locked drop box outside the Township building.
