The Lower Moreland Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold its monthly public meeting on Thursday March 19, 2026 at 7pm.

Seeking Community Feedback- Lower Moreland Park Building

The Township is applying for a grant from the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources to help offset costs to replace the park building in Lower Moreland Park. The new building would provide accessible, upgraded restrooms and a concession room plus a 30’ x 44’ pavilion. If successful with the grant, we will also be able to add shade structures at the recently constructed playgroun. We would love to hear from residents and HVAA families any comments you may have on the proposed project scope as we prepare our application. You can submit comments by email to Township Manager Christopher Hoffman at choffman@lowermoreland.org or attend the Board of Commissioners upcoming March 10, 2026 meeting.

February 26, 2026 Planning Commission Meeting

The Lower Moreland Township Planning Commission Meeting will be held on Thursday February 26, 2026 at 7:00 pm.

Trash and Recycling

Starting in January 2026, the Township’s new hauler will be AJ Blosenski. Both trash and recycling collections will be automated, using township-provided bins.
