PennDOT’s construction project to replace the Washington Lane Culvert over Pennpack Creek is scheduled to begin on Monday, March 21.  Due to the nature of construction, Washington Lane will be closed and detoured 24/7 between Route 63 (Welsh Road) and Terwood Road beginning Monday, March 21, 2022 through the completion of the project scheduled for late July, 2022.

During the closure, Washington Lane motorists will be directed to use Route 63 (Welsh Road) and Terwood Road.

Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.

Loftus Construction, Inc. of Cinnaminson, N.J., is the general contractor on the bridge/culvert improvement project.
